Graham Privett is proud to support the Caron Keating Foundation

'Sir Cliff Richard, 50 years in Showbusiness' ball was held at the Runneymede Hotel and Spa, Egham, Surrey on Friday 4th July and raised £8,000 for the Caron Keating Foundation.  The ball was organised by Joy Passman of Gemstone Hope Appeal.  Graham was delighted to be asked to DJ at the event as well as provide the PA and Lighting for the event.  Musical entertainment was by way of The Shadows tribute band; The Rapiers, Cliff Richard tribute singer; Kytson Wolfe, and a visit back to the era of rock and roll was given by Ricky Aaron who had the guests twisting in good old rock and roll fashion.  The guests were all treated to a couple of songs from the guest of honour, Sir Cliff Richard who sang 'The Young ones' and a fitting tribute to Caron; 'Miss you nights'.  DJ Graham then took to the helm at Midnight playing a medley of tracks from a variety of genres to a full dance floor until carriages in the early hours.

Sir Cliff Richard and Gloria Hunniford attended the glittering ball whilst the auction was kept in full swing by Comedienne Faith Brown.  Auction lots included a guitar signed by Sir Cliff, one of Caron's last paintings, a wonderful villa holiday in Portugal and items of clothing donated by Sir Cliff Richard himself as well as a shirt worn by Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell.  Raffle prizes were plentiful and included signed books by Angel Lady author Jacky Newcomb, Invigorate Recruitment, Diamond-feather.co.uk, Rosemary Conley amongst many others.

The Caron Keating Foundation is a charity giving grants to other cancer charities set up by Gloria Hunniford following the death of her beloved daughter Caron in 2004.Caron was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997 when she was in her mid 30's.  At that time she was a much loved TV personality.  Caron fought the disease for seven years but sadly lost her tenancious battle with cancer in 2004 and subsequently the family set up a foundation in her name - The Caron Keating Foundation.  Full details about the foundation and how you can support it can be found on the website www.caronkeating.org
